Introducing our latest intern Eve Dickson

In October we welcomed our latest intern to the team Eve Dickson.

Eve graduated from Central Saint Martins summer 2023. She is passionate about audience engagement through tactile design disciplines.

She will be working in our studio 4 days a week for 8-weeks, where she will get her hands on client projects whilst building her skillset and craft through 10-hours mentoring.

Tell us an interesting fact about you

I am a lover of quad roller skating! Specifically, going to skate parks and skating around bowls.

Why did you want to join Patch & Pieces?

I was drawn to Patch & Pieces because of their focus on handcrafted design and more analogue approach to branding, this is something that resonates with my own practice. I also loved the idea of being able to work for a smaller business that would allow me to be introduced to the design industry in a more personal and nurturing environment.

What are you hoping to gain out of the 8-week internship?

Over the 8 weeks of my internship, I hope to gain a better understanding of how the visual identity design process is carried out in a professional setting. I also hope to continue the development of my digital design skills (specifically in Illustrator). I also look forward to growing my passion for professional graphic design processes in the friendly studio atmosphere.
